About Yaanendriya
Yaanendriya is a deep-tech company working on navigation, control systems, IMUs, GNSS/INS, flight controllers and technologies for drones, robotics and autonomous systems.
About the Role
We are looking for a technically curious and creative intern who can work closely with our engineers and turn complex engineering ideas into clear, engaging video content. This is not a conventional social-media internship; the role sits at the intersection of engineering, storytelling and video production.You do not need to already be an expert in IMUs or navigation. You should enjoy learning technical concepts, asking good questions and simplifying them without losing accuracy.
What You Will Do
Work with engineers to understand products, tests, applications and technical concepts.
Develop content around IMUs, inertial navigation, GNSS-denied navigation, sensor fusion, drones, robotics and autonomous systems.
Convert engineering discussions into simple scripts, storyboards and visual explanations.
Shoot and edit short-form and long-form videos for LinkedIn, YouTube and the company website.
Create product demonstrations, lab/test videos, engineering explainers, application videos and founder/engineer-led content.
Use subtitles, diagrams, motion graphics and simple animations where they improve understanding.
Repurpose long-form content into shorter clips and platform-specific formats.
Validate technical accuracy with engineers before publication and own content from idea to final output.

What We Are Looking For
Strong curiosity about technology and willingness to learn unfamiliar engineering concepts.
Ability to ask good questions and explain complicated ideas in simple language.
Interest in video creation, filmmaking, technical communication or content production.
Basic hands-on ability in video shooting and editing.
Good written and spoken English.
Ability to work independently, take feedback and iterate quickly.
Interest in robotics, drones, aerospace, electronics, autonomous systems or deep technology.
Comfort working from our Bengaluru office and interacting regularly with engineers.
An engineering background in ECE, EEE, Robotics, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field is useful, but not mandatory. Strong candidates from other backgrounds with technical curiosity and content ability are welcome.
Useful Skills
Any of the following are useful: Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, After Effects, motion graphics, camera shooting, lighting/audio, Canva, YouTube or LinkedIn content creation. You are not expected to know all of them.
What Success Looks Like
A successful intern should gradually be able to take a topic such as “How can a robot estimate its position when GPS is unavailable?”, speak with an engineer, understand the concept, identify the interesting part of the story and turn it into an accurate, engaging video that an engineering student, customer or technology enthusiast can understand.
The goal is not simply to create attractive videos. The goal is to build engineering-led content that helps people understand the problem, the technology and why Yaanendriya’s products matter.

Engineering discussion → Research → Hook/Story → Script → Technical validation → Shoot → Edit → Graphics → Final review → Publish → Repurpose
Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates may be given a small practical assignment — for example, a 60–90 second video, script or storyboard explaining “Why can’t an IMU alone provide perfect position indefinitely?” We will evaluate technical understanding, quality of questions, accuracy, simplicity, storytelling, visual thinking, editing quality, creativity and ownership.
