About the Role
As a Research Manager at ARTPARK working on MMY SARVA project, you will be responsible for the overall management of the project by coordinating the work of three engineers hired under this project, and working with and reporting to the clinician and two professors. You will also handle the logistics, purchases, expenditure, report preparation, and all other managerial aspects of the project.
Key Responsibilities
Understanding the scope of the project, work packages, deliverables, timeline, and budget.
Coordinating the work of three engineers as per the overall objectives of the project, including in research, R&D, and technical evaluation from time to time.
Working with the clinician and academic investigators and keeping them posted on all aspects of the project.
Handling the logistics and timely progression of the project; working with ARTPARK staff in appointments, evaluation, and oversight of the project staff of the project.
Preparing reports, IP, and other documentation.
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in engineering or management with background in medical device space.
Prior experience in the development of medical devices
Proficiency in software necessary for project management
Good communication abilities and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred Experience
Experience in working on medical devices in collaboration with clinicians and academicians; startups or the industry
Experience in translating research into products (e.g., prototypes, products, or platforms).
Background in industry–academia collaborations, technology transfer, or original research initiatives.
Familiarity with innovation ecosystem or applied research labs.
