ARC-Net

ARC-Net, backed by ARTPARK-IISc Bengaluru, is an applied research program that bridges India’s top academic talent and industry partners to deliver first-principles R&D, reproducible proofs of concept, and pathways to tech transfer. Through curated teams consisting of young graduates, students, academicians and mentored by industry professionals, ARC-Net translates complex problem statements into deployable prototypes and IP-driven outcomes.

The program addresses a critical gap for companies: limited bandwidth for early-stage R&D, costly senior hires, and slow-moving institute MoUs. ARC-Net offers a parallel, time-bound research lane that sharpens problem briefs, runs invention-led sprints, and hands over reproducible solutions with clear success metrics - faster than academic collaborations, and more original and outcome-focused than contract research organisations.

In the next five years, this program aspires to become India’s invention engine, a national R&D network with deep-tech vertical labs in AI, robotics, climate, and healthcare - delivering patents, datasets, and translational pilots, while also building a new generation of inventors rooted in India.
