About the Role
As a Design Engineer at ARTPARK working on MMY SARVA project, you will be responsible for the design, prototyping, testing, and validation of a deployable miniaturized mechanical device that can perform the anastomosis procedure after it is guided through a catheter.
Key Responsibilities
Study of existing solutions from the published literature.
Conceptual design of an anastomotic device for the given specifications.
Detailed design and optimization of the device using the principle of compliant mechanisms.
Multibody dynamic analysis and finite element analysis of the components and the entire device.
Prototyping of the device.
Testing, redesign, and validation
Required Qualifications:
MTech or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics with specialization in mechanism design
Prior experience in the design of medical devices
Proficiency in CAD, FEA, and optimization
Good communication abilities and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred Experience
Experience in working on medical devices in collaboration with clinicians and academicians
Experience in translating research into shipped solutions (e.g., prototypes, products, or platforms).
Background in industry–academia collaborations, technology transfer, or original research initiatives.
Familiarity with innovation ecosystems, or applied research labs.
