IT Administrator
Location: BANGALORE
We are seeking a IT Administrator to manage the complete IT infrastructure that powers ARTPark’s operations and its incubated start-ups. The role involves maintaining a diverse environment of Linux, Windows, and macOS systems, high-performance GPU clusters, and a secure, high-speed campus network. The ideal candidate will ensure reliability, scalability, and security across all digital assets.
Key Responsibilities:
System Administration:
Install, configure, and maintain Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS), Windows, and macOS systems.
Manage user accounts, access controls, and system policies across the organization.
Monitor server health, storage usage, and application performance.
Maintain and administer the H200 GPU cluster and other compute servers.
Implement and monitor data backup and recovery solutions.
Network Administration:
Manage campus network including routers, firewalls, switches, wireless controllers, and access points.
Ensure reliable connectivity and optimal performance of the WAN link and internal WLAN.
Define and enforce network security policies, VLAN segmentation, and access control lists.
Monitor network traffic, detect intrusions, and perform root-cause analysis of network incidents.
IT Operations & Support:
Provide IT support to ~30 internal users and several startup teams incubated at ARTPark.
Troubleshoot hardware/software/network issues and coordinate with vendors when required.
Maintain asset inventory, software licenses, and documentation of configurations.
Support setup for workshops, hackathons, and research projects that need IT resources.
Required Skills & Experience:
5–10 years of hands-on experience in system and network administration.
Strong expertise in Linux server management and shell scripting (Bash/Python).
Working knowledge of Windows Server and macOS administration.
Experience with network management (firewalls, routing, VLANs, WLAN controllers).
Familiarity with firewall systems (SonicWall / Fortigate / similar).
Experience maintaining or supporting GPU or HPC clusters.
Understanding of security practices—SSL, VPNs, authentication systems, and patch management.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience with virtualization (VMware, KVM) or container environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
Experience supporting R&D or academic computing environments.
