Network and System Administrator

Qualification: 3~5 Yrs experience; BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in CSE/ECE or MCA

Person with experience as Network and System Administrator with exposure to the network switch management, server administration and network maintenance and troubleshooting and preferably exposed to DEVOPS.

Added advantage: Understanding of 5G/LTE components, RAN and the Core Network system configurations, installation and basic system testing skills and troubleshooting.

Job Description:

Person is responsible for:

1) Maintaining and managing the network servers with Linux operating system and other OSs as appropriate, user administration and trouble shoot the systems. Maintain and manage the software images for various deployments as needed. Maintain and manage the network configurations including any virtualization, DNS and network switches etc. Be able to troubleshoot any connectivity issues.

2) Setting up 5G/4G Network with various application servers that can be integrated with the 5G System as necessary. Maintain various network configurations and be able to load different software images (or configurations) for the Radio Access Network, Core Network and Application systems to meet the needs of specific use cases being developed. Collaborate and cooperate with development and participate in demonstration activities as necessary. Support internal and external lab users.

3) Creating and maintaining proper documentation of Private 5G Network architecture/design details, preparation of user guide / manuals, preparation of Test Plan with KPIs and Test Procedure, carrying out periodic functional and performance tests on the Network as per the Test Plan and generation of Test Reports, Test automation wherever possible.

4) Coordination with vendors in identification, procurement and maintenance of 5G lab equipment and instruments. Maintaining lab inventory and record of lab users. Ensure lab cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety protocols.

• Understanding of Wireless protocols (5G, LTE and 5GCN and EPC)

• Debugging of systems based on C/C++

• Log analysis and troubleshooting
