Systems Engineer (Scalable & Distributed Systems)

 Role Overview

We are looking for a Systems Engineer who has experience designing and building scalable, reliable, and highly available distributed systems. You should enjoy debugging tough issues, optimizing performance, and thinking deeply about system behaviour. 

Key Responsibilities 

● Design and implement scalable backend services and distributed systems. 

● Architect solutions with high availability, reliability, and fault tolerance. 

● Work across cloud and on-premise deployments, including edge environments. 

● Build system monitoring, logging, observability, and automated recovery workflows. 

● Identify bottlenecks in performance and optimize system capacity and throughput. 

● Collaborate with ML/analytics engineers to integrate intelligence into production systems. 

● Drive ownership of components end-to-end from design to maintenance. 

Required Skills 

● Strong experience in Go / Python / Java (any two is good).

● Proven track record in architecting scalable & distributed systems. 

● Hands-on with microservices, message queues, containers, Kubernetes. 

● Understanding of networking fundamentals, caching, load balancing, failover strategies. 

● Experience with Linux systems.

 ● Strong problem-solving and debugging skills — especially in live systems. 

Nice to Have

 ● Experience in edge + cloud hybrid deployments. 

● Exposure to observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Open Telemetry). 

● Familiarity with data pipelines, MLOps.
