About
At ARTPARK, we build technology that addresses large societal challenges. The Aarogya Aarohan initiative focuses on using artificial intelligence to support early detection of oral cancer through a mobile-based screening tool used by frontline health workers. Because our app is used in busy government hospitals, it must remain simple and intuitive for nurses and frontline health workers.
Why this Role Matters
This is early-stage work where the product designer will shape how healthcare workers, clinicians, and programme administrators interact with AI enabled systems. You will be part of a small, cross-disciplinary team working at the frontier of AI for public good. The experiences designed here could share how AI integrates with public healthcare in India.
What You’ll Do
Product & interaction design: Design intuitive interfaces for the mobile application and dashboards used by clinicians and programme teams.
Design for real-world constraints: Create experiences that work well for first-time smartphone users and entry-level Android devices. Design solutions that fit into the complex and often messy workflows of a hospital.
AI-assisted workflows: Design AI UX for the public healthcare context, ensuring clarity and trust for frontline healthcare workers.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with engineers, machine learning researchers, and UX researchers to translate technical capabilities and research insights into usable product features.
Service & communication design: Improve the overall patient journey, from screening to diagnosis, through service design thinking. Create supporting print materials such as guides or patient cards when needed.
Design System: Set up a design system to ensure the product experience remains consistent as the project & team scales.
Who we’re looking for
1-3 years of experience in product design, interaction design, or UX design.
Strong ability to translate complex processes into clear and simple user flows.
Experience designing for mobile and web products, as well as print materials.
Interest in designing for first-time users, low digital literacy contexts, or resource-constrained environments.
It’s a Plus If You Have
Experience with healthcare, AI-enabled products, or public sector projects.
Familiarity with systems thinking and service design.
Experience working in small, lean teams where designers take ownership across multiple parts of the product.
