Full Stack Developer

BACKGROUND

ARTPARK is looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer (2–5 years of experience) to design, develop, and maintain scalable web and mobile applications powering AI-driven digital platforms for environmental surveillance, disease modelling, and public health research.

As part of a nationwide Collaborative Environmental Surveillance initiative, ARTPARK is developing cutting-edge digital platforms that support environmental surveillance, laboratory workflows, and disease modelling for high-priority human and animal disease pathogens. The project aims to enable early detection, risk assessment, and data-driven public health responses through advanced digital technologies.

The role involves developing scalable web and mobile applications and contributing across the entire software development lifecycle. The candidate will collaborate with Product Managers, QA Engineers, UI/UX Designers, Researchers, and Data Scientists to deliver robust, high-quality digital solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong full-stack development experience, a solid understanding of modern software engineering practices, and excellent problem-solving skills. The candidate should be passionate about building reliable, scalable software and working in multidisciplinary teams to deliver impactful digital solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance web and mobile applications using Flutter, Next.js, and NestJS.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs and backend services.

• Build configurable modules supporting multiple pathogen surveillance workflows.

• Optimize application performance, database queries, and overall system scalability.

• Develop secure, reusable, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, QA Engineers, UI/UX Designers, Researchers, and Data Scientists to deliver high-quality features.

• Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and release activities.

• Support cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and production issue resolution.

  
  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in full-stack web and mobile application development.

• Experience building production-grade applications.

• Experience working on large-scale, data-driven applications is preferred.

• Experience with scientific, healthcare, LIMS, GIS, or open-source projects is an added advantage.
