About the One Health Team/Data Science Innovation Hub at ARTPARK

The One Health Team at ARTPARK @ IISC works with the Office of the Principal Scientific Advisor, local and state governments and the Indian national government, national and international research groups, and other stakeholders in the private and social sectors (such as philanthropic organisations), to aid efforts in disease modelling and epidemiological analysis for human and animal diseases. This is part of the national and international push for One Health, a holistic approach to health threats and pandemic preparedness that looks at human health, animal health (both domestic and wildlife), and the environment as a whole, working with a wide range of stakeholders within and outside the government. This approach has gained additional traction since the COVID19 pandemic.
