In ARTPARK’s first-ever Robotics Challenge, we invited students from India’s coveted engineering colleges to develop a robotic janitor capable of cleaning and maintaining a washroom. We believe that while we’ve come a long way in our journey to achieve universal sanitation coverage, this could be crucial to make clean toilets a reality. Apart from one year of continuous mentorship, the teams were given a grant worth ₹4 L to build their robots. With this initiative, we’re hoping that the Robotic Janitors pave the way for the new reality in India.
